On the lower Android version devices, sometimes system permission will be disabled automatically. And it will disable the App/Screen Time Limits feature.
How to fix the App/Screen Time Limits features work again?
Here are the steps you can follow:
Go to the “Settings” of your child’s phone > “Application“/ “Apps” > “FlashGet Kids” > “Permissions.” Find and turn on the relevant permission.
Due to the different phone brands and operating systems, the pop-up window permission name might use different names. Here are some permission names for your reference. Please ensure that permission of your child’s phone has been enabled (all names below refer to the same permission):
- Apps that can appear on top
- Appear on top
- Pop-up window
- Floating window
- Draw over the other apps
- Display over other apps
- Display pop-up window
Note: If you’re using Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo phones, you should enable these permissions.
- Display pop-up window while running in the background.
- Background pop-ups
The Usage Limits will stop working when the accessibility loses its effectiveness or is disabled. If the permissions mentioned above have been turned on, but the usage limits fail to work. Please head to the “Settings” of the child’s phone, find out “FlashGet Kids“ turn off the “Accessibility,” and then turn it on again to see if it works.
If you can’t find “Accessibility” mentioned above, you may follow the step below.
- Head to “Settings” > “Additional settings” > “Accessibility” >”Downloaded apps” or “Installed apps” > “FlashGet Kids.
